-pH buffer solutions
pH electrodes must be calibrated regularly to adjust the gradient and zero point (offset) according to standard values (pH buffers). Manumesure offers a highly varied range of pH buffers suitable for any application.
-NIST/DIN standard buffer solutions
pH 1.68 4.01 7.00 9.18 10.01
The formulation of these buffer solutions complies with the NIST (US National Institute of Standards and Technology) and DIN19266 specifications.
The solutions are delivered with a quality certificate containing the following information: pH value and uncertainty, traceability, batch number and use-by date. Conditioned in ready-to-use 125 mL flasks, these buffers can be stored for 2 or 3 months after opening. Accurate to ± 0.02 pH and traceable to certified reference materials, these standard solutions guarantee maximum accuracy and a link between your measurements and the international SI system.
-COFRAC-certified buffer solutions
See the webpage on COFRAC-CERTIFIED REFERENCE MATERIALS.
-Concentrated buffer solutions
pH 4.00 7.00 9.00
The concentrated pH 7.00 and 9.00 buffer solutions are delivered in 125 mL flasks and must be diluted 10-fold before use. This will give 1.25 L of the calibration solution after dilution. Caution: the pH 4.00 buffer must be diluted 5-fold before use (0.625 L of solution after dilution).
The colour-coding of the three solutions will make them easier to use and reduce the risk of confusion between the acidic, basic and neutral buffers.
-Redox buffer solutions
These buffer solutions can be used to adjust the instrument/electrode pairing to the value of the standard solution. The redox sensor must be calibrated regularly to ensure the best possible accuracy. Manumesure proposes two ready-to-use standard solutions (220 mV and 468 mV) and a concentrated solution (Michaelis solution, 146 mV). The three solutions are delivered with a quality certificate.
-Standard conductivity solutions
147 µS/cm and 1408 µS/cm standard conductivity solutions
These solutions are checked and standardized with a conductivity meter calibrated using a certified solution traceable to the NIST reference materials. They are delivered with a quality certificate containing the following information: conductivity value and uncertainty, traceability, batch number and use-by date.
12.85 mS/cm standard conductivity solution
This standard solution is checked and standardized using a conductivity meter calibrated using a standard produced according to the specifications of the IOLM (International Organization of Legal Metrology). The solution delivered with a quality certificate containing the following information: conductivity value and uncertainty, traceability, batch number and use-by date.
12.88 mS/cm standard conductivity solution
C’This is a concentrated 1mol/L KCl solution which must be diluted 10-fold in pure water to obtain a 12.88 mS/cm standard conductivity solution (at 25°C). It is possible to obtain different conductivity values by varying the dilution ratio.
All the flasks bear explanatory labels indicating the batch number and the use-by date.
