Description
Like pH measurements, conductivity measurements depend significantly on the temperature, so they require the use of a temperature sensor.
- Temperature sensor with a polypropylene body
- Capable of measuring a narrower range of temperatures than the BT1 sensor: 0°C to +90°C.
- Pt100 metal resistance probe.
This temperature sensor is widely used in industry, taking advantage of the fact that the resistivity of the metal (platinum resistor) varies according to the temperature. The initial value of a Pt100 probe is 100Ω at a temperature of 0°C.
To ensure highly accurate measurements, remember to check the temperature and thermostat the sample so that the temperature during measurement is the same as during calibration.
- Two types of connection technology are available to connect the probe to your instruments.
